This is a entry that I would really like feedback on.

I am very close to quitting golf. I have never been so frustrated, embaressed and humbled by this game ever.

Lasr year after many years of neglect. I decided to get my game back. I was a 4 handicap in my early twenties. I worked endlessly all last summer on my game. I didn't play a huge amount of rounds but practiced at least 7 hours a week.

I had toyed around with the idea of lessons and had seen somebody here who is pretty well respected. Played the tour for 7 years in the 70's and early 80's. Was the number two am. in the country in 68. I saw him 2 or 3 times last fall but decided to comitt to a change in the winter. I could work inside 100 yard dome without wheather.

10 hours a week and 1000's of golfballs later we get to spring. I cannot break 90. I have even shot a round in the 100's. I was shooting 76 to 80 last summer. I played 10 rounds in May and shot under 90 twice.

I hit the ball great on the range. I cannot play. I hit it everywhere. I must take 4 pentalty strokes per round. I can't go back now, to what I was doing last year. I forgot, it does not feel right even when I try.

I am lost. Do not know what to do. I go a take a lesson and look awesome. He does not understand why I am shooting so poorly. My range swing is great. I try and play though and it all goes away.

I am ready to quit.
