Golf Terms Acronyms Abbreviations & Glossary

SITD has so much to offer the golf student as well as being an environment for theorists to exchange and debate ideas.
A golf glossary that could be occasionally linked-to in thread discussions (after it's buried) could help improve newcomers comprehension who are following along.

If anyone is interested in helping to build this page just copy the previous post or information and add to it, edit it, alter it, improve upon it as you see fit. Remember - even if you only add or make one change it is still a big help.

To speed searching my suggestion would be to keep explanations and descriptions as brief as possible. Simple black & white images, kept small, are fine. But large images, gifs, & videos may slow loading for some or disturb the flow of quickly scrolling to verify an acronym etc. and then getting back to the thread. Links should be the preferred method of explaining in further detail. (please embed link into a single word - 'Link' - using post editing tools).

Mediate any questions, changes, differences you feel need to be discussed with previous poster through PM's so that a user only needs to go the the last page or post posted to get the latest version. In other words please only post updated changes here, not discussions.
