Does anyone know anything about Ben Hogan leader irons? I can't find anything about them online

Nick - I don't know about the Leader irons but I have a Hogan Apex PC iron question for anyone. Was it standard for the E (wedge) to be 1/2" longer than the 9 or do I have a mismatched set? I've had them for years and pulled them down from the attic a while back to get in some real practice. I noticed I was hitting them about the same distance then noticed the shaft length. The E has an AMF shaft in it but I can''t tell what the 9 has. Just wondering if that was spec or what. Thanks!

Standard Equalizer length is 35.5", 9 iron is 35.75" -finished lengths.

Thanks Craig for the specs! Guess my 9 has been altered at some point.

Some models had the same back of heel to first step measurement and some had the Equalizer 1/2" shorter distance to the heel than the 9 iron. Your Equalizer also may just have an extension.... If the shaft steps don't match up, the E still may play well as long as the length and loft/lie is correct.

I would recommend extending the 9-iron rather than re-shafting. It could be difficult to find an exact replacement.
