Martin Ayers Group Forum: A group for everyone to discuss my teaching methods. I have based what I teach on many lessons learned both through mentors of mine and by looking at some of the greats of the game. Particularly going back into previous eras, where I believe much of what was learned has been forgotten. There has been many advancements made in Golf, but I believe for every one of those there has been a corresponding piece of wisdom lost.

I'm always open to new ideas, so if you have one, feel free to share it in the group forum, you'll find all kinds of views are welcome.

The move feels VERY familiar to me. 2 years, 1 month ago #11632

Just this weekend I purchased the Move. Almost right away I got what Martin, Elk, and Mike were trying to get across. After studying Hogans book more then a few times over the years, the move felt like re-reading my favorite book. I liked learning from Hogan because I am short at 5'6" and a flat swinger.

My keys from Hogan, besides the basics, were a more open feeling in my lower body at set up, turning around the left leg, and getting my right elbow tight to my hip on the down swing to leverage the smash.

Great stuff SITD crew! I really am looking forward to developing this into my move. Everything in the video can be used by anyone, in any swing type to ramp up the SMASH factor. Not to mention I really didn't have to "look" for the ball on the downswing.
